Every designer seems to have developed the metallic touch. Whether it’s a light frosting or full blown lame, everything from dresses to coats and shoes to belts has been given a metallic makeover. What to wear with metallics? Dress down shiny skirts and dresses, like See by Chloe’s metallic shift dress, with a pair of black opaque tights, or go all out and slip on a shiny pair of strappy heals. Add some shine to jeans with a metallic jacket, or belt a sweater dress with a zippy number like Fendi’s B waist belt. Just save the lame full body for Halloween. Only Elvis could pull that off on a daily basis.
